Blog Cafés in Chernivtsi: Dialogue, Recovery, and Balance
In September and October 2025, four blog cafés were held in Chernivtsi as part of the “Together We Can” programme, implemented by the NGO Human Rights Foundation.
These meetings became safe spaces for conversation, understanding, and support – places where activists, volunteers, students, and representatives of civic organizations could share experiences and find inner balance.
The events focused on key aspects of emotional well-being, the art of communication, nonviolent dialogue, creative recovery, and finding points of stability in uncertain times.
September 10 – Designing Dialogue
Participants explored how effective dialogue can help people truly hear themselves and others. Discussions focused on how language builds trust, what conditions encourage understanding, and what it means to speak with respect – even in difficult conversations.
September 19 – The Circle of Dialogue: Talking About Conflict and Ways to Resolve It
This meeting served as a practical space for discussing conflicts in communities and families. Participants learned to recognize their own emotional reactions, understand others’ feelings, and transform confrontation into cooperation and mutual understanding.
September 29 – Healing Through Creativity: Art Therapy for Inner Harmony
Creativity became a tool for emotional recovery. Painting, working with color, and collage-based art therapy techniques helped participants express their emotions, release tension, and restore calm and balance.
October 23 – Points of Support: Finding Balance in Times of Uncertainty
The final blog café focused on personal resilience and emotional stability. Participants discussed stress and anxiety, shared methods of self-care, created “resource maps,” and exchanged practical tools for inner grounding and renewal.
The blog café series in Chernivtsi showed that even in challenging times, communities can remain united, compassionate, and strong.
We sincerely thank all participants, organizers, and partners for their trust, honesty, and willingness to support one another.
The project is implemented by the NGO Human Rights Foundation within the “Together We Can” programme with the support of IFA and the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
