Mentorship Meetings for Ambassadors: Support, Inspiration, and Growth

In July, as part of the “Together We Can” programme, six mentorship meetings were held across all project regions. These sessions served as important platforms for the professional growth of ambassadors, experience sharing, and receiving valuable guidance from mentors.

Each meeting focused on analysing current results, improving mini-projects, and identifying new ideas for further community initiatives.

Chernivtsi

On July 7, a mentorship meeting with mentor Ruslana Havryliuk in Chernivtsi was dedicated to motivating ambassadors and shaping the vision for the next stages of project implementation. Participants shared success stories, discussed challenges, and planned their contributions to the creation of the Success Almanac.

Chernihiv

On July 2, under the moderation of Nataliia Shakun, a meeting with ambassadors in Chernihiv took place. Participants presented the outcomes of their projects, learned how to effectively tell stories that inspire communities, and discussed key deadlines and next steps for their work.

Kropyvnytskyi

On July 4, in Kropyvnytskyi, mentor Nataliia Tkachenko worked with ambassadors on strengthening communication strategies, building partnerships, and engaging local communities in project activities. The meeting concluded with a discussion of plans for the next stage of initiatives.

Cherkasy

On July 21, in Cherkasy, mentor Angela Boiko and ambassadors analysed the needs of target groups in the context of community recovery. They discussed strategies for cooperation with local authorities and partner organisations, as well as effective ways to implement results in their communities.

Zaporizhzhia

On July 15, in Zaporizhzhia, the meeting led by mentor Victoriia Pohrebna focused on the development of ambassadors’ mini-projects, establishing partnerships, and actively engaging target audiences in programme activities.

Sumy

On July 25, in Sumy, mentor Mariia Kholosha conducted an in-depth analysis of each mini-project. The discussion focused on topics such as emotional intelligence, personal boundaries, resilience, and active listening techniques. Each participant received tailored recommendations to improve their project and its implementation.

The results of the mentorship meetings confirm that such sessions provide essential support to ambassadors, help strengthen skills, adapt approaches, and empower communities even under challenging conditions.

The project is implemented by the NGO Human Rights Foundation with the support of IFA and the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
