Today there are many different devices to use and within seconds today’s generation can figure out how to work the devices. As Mizuko says, “Teens then share their creations and receive feedback from others online. By its immediacy and breadth of information, the digital world lowers barriers to self-directed learning” (Source C). Today’s generation taking good advantage of the advanced technology. As a result, they have the opportunity to seek assist from people across the internet and start to network.
Reflective Essay On Digital Communication.
The world we live in today is predominately changing with the advancement of digital communication in the daily aspects of our life. The rapid growth and evolution of digital communication, has resulted in it now becoming the backbone of the way we interact with other people. Beginning from simple 160-character SMS messages to text’s influence on the internet including Facebook, Twitter, Blogs and Instagram and then introduced on our mobile phones with BBM and whatsapp; digital communication has become a part of our spoken discourse. Digital communication in every aspect has impacted our lives as it helps jobs and businesses communicate a lot faster through e-mail, multimedia and texting.
Structuralism In Digital Media
Social media has, especially become a dominant platform for activists to communicate and raise their agenda (Shorter 39). Cyber activism is based on the fact that digital media is perceived to be revolutionary. According to Barker, digital media has characteristics such as interactivity, interconnectivity, and informational activity which assist in explaining the ease with which people that are not professionals can produce and edit as well as consume content (365). Jenkins highlights the fact that new media technologies have enabled the flow of content through many channels (11). This is shown by how sharing of content, collection of content through the search for images and publication in platforms that material could easily be shared.

With changes like these in lifestyle, where much of our communication, leisure and entertainment is online, and our smartphones being an essential part of everyday life, questions are arising concerning what technology may be doing to us and if technology is a threat to our health and wellbeing. Digital technology may give us many advantages in our everyday life, as well as benefiting our wellbeing. Online communication supporting existing relationships with friends and family can benefit our self-esteem and social connectedness. It can also make it easier to stay connected with friends and family while living abroad.
Technology In Brave New World
Has technology changed so immensely over the years that it now controls society? What has it done to control society? Over the years, technology has become one of the society’s major resources. This relates to the use of technology to control the World State in Aldous Huxley’s, Brave New World. In the present day, we aren’t quite advanced enough to create clones or flying cars, but technology has become more of an everyday tool over the course of time.

Affect their life negatively. These social problems are drugs and
Violence. Even though one doesn’t want to be exposed to these
Problems, it’s impossible because it is everywhere. If one goes to a
Party, one runs the risk of meeting people doing drugs or fighting.
People do this to rebel or fit in the society they live in, others do it
It to prove to others that they are “cool”.
Even though these two social problems walk hand-to-hand, one can exist
