Together We Can” Final Forum: Year Results, Shared Vision and Next Steps
On December 6–7, 2025, the final forum of the Empowerment and Resilience Building Programme for Community Leaders in Ukraine “Together We Can” took place in Kyiv.
The programme is implemented by the Human Rights Foundation with the support of IFA (zivik) and funding from the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The forum brought together partner organizations as well as Programme Ambassadors from six regions of Ukraine — Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Chernivtsi — and became a space to reflect on a year of work, exchange experiences, and jointly plan future actions.
Day 1 | Regional presentations and results
During the first day, regional teams presented the outcomes of their work in local communities, shared achievements and challenges, and reflected on their initiatives related to youth participation, psychological recovery, gender equality, media literacy and community resilience.
The presentations demonstrated diverse approaches shaped by local contexts, yet united by a common goal — strengthening communities and empowering young leaders during times of crisis.
Day 2 | Planning and work with UNSCR 2250
The second day focused on collective reflection and practical planning around the implementation of UNSCR 2250 “Youth. Peace. Security” within the national programme “Youth of Ukraine: Generation of Resilience – 2030” and regional youth programmes for 2026–2030.
Through group work, participants developed advocacy roadmaps, identifying key challenges, partners and possible steps at regional and national levels.
Forum outcomes
The forum became not only the conclusion of the programme year, but also an important space for open dialogue, mutual support and shared learning. Participants reflected on their experiences in local communities, discussed lessons learned, and strengthened connections within the network.
The Kyiv meeting once again confirmed that cooperation between youth, civil society, education and public authorities is a key condition for community resilience, even in the most challenging circumstances.
The project is implemented by the Human Rights Foundation within the “Together We Can” programme, with the support of IFA (zivik) and the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.
